check engine light error code 0750
I have a 2006 C230 sport, which has done 42k. Couple of days ago, check engine light lit up, I went to a local body shop, and it showed error 0750, 2096, 0746 and 2092. The body shop guy told that sensor needs to be changed. I would really appreciate if someone gives any idea about what needs to be done.

you need to take it to a mechanic (preferbably a mercedes or german car specialist) rather than a body shop. they can tell you what each code means (which sensor is bad, etc.). 746 and 750 may relate to the shift in auto transmission. not sure about other 2.

NO!
Always people out here that think they know what's going on, but really have no clue. A P0746 and P0750 are shift codes, however a mercedes manufacture code 0746 and 0750 are something completely different. These codes are Rich fuel trim codes which means your long term fuel trims are negative. The car is getting too much fuel, and is outside of the computers control for stoichiometric fuel.

Mercedes codes 0750 0746
On mine that had these same codes, I found extremely dirty air filters, and the top cover not being seated correctly over the MAF. I also cleaned the MAF at the same time. Codes gone, customer happy.
