Check Engine Light on Benz C230!
Hi everyone,
I'm fairly new on Manual transmission cars
. A few days back I was holding the car (2002 Benz C230 kompressor) at a stop light only on the clutch without pushing the break, the terrain was a little uphill so i was holding the clutch somewhere in the middle so it doesn't go back. The moment i released the clutch the check engine came on, not sure if the clutch went bad (didn't smoke though) or any other sensor got damaged!
Any help greatly appreciate it!

Honestly it could be anything. The only thing really to do it take it to MB dealership or find a local European Mechanic that works on MB to run the codes. It could have nothing to do with the clutch. Could just be a bad thermostat or something.
