Catalytic Converter Needs to be Replaced

I currently own a 2002 C230 Kompressor. The catalytic converter blew yesterday and needs to be replaced before I can drive the car. My local MB shop is quoting me $2,000. I have been researching catalytic converters online, but I'm not sure which one my car should take. I have a certified MB mechanic that will do the work for cheap on the side, if I buy the part. Can somebody please assist me in finding the correct catalytic converter? I need my car fixed ASAP for work. Thank you! :)
