Hi!
I 've had a 1996 C280 for about two months now. I lifted my windshield wiper to clean it, and now I cannot get it down; seems to have locked into that position. Is there a lock or something that I need to release?

That's a bummer. Did MB use the single wiper in '96? That's what my car has and I can't lift it too high off the glass. I'm not aware of a lock position.

Mine is having spring clicker. With slight push it will go down.
Advise caution. Those single arm wipers are very expensive.
Wallmart is having refills up to 24" for $1.99

 

WAG, pull away from the hinge, then let down. If not, look for a holding device of some sort.
