C280 Starts, cranks but does'nt go through
Maybe you could help me with my problem. I started my 97 C280 and heard a loud burst.
when tried again, the engine cranks but would'nt go through. I tried again and stepped on the gas and i could hear some backfiring sound and i noticed the rich smell of the gasoline. the engine would die as soon as i release the gas pedal.
