C280 lux vs ES350
I'm going to get a new auto in the next 4-6 months & have started doing my research. I'm curious about the ride quality of the C280 luxury versus an ES. I've had a 3/series before & for me the ride was too stiff for everyday use. I put a lot of miles on a car each year & want something relaxing to drive. Is the MB more sport oriented like the BMW as compared to the Lexus. Also, I know the Benz is changing body style this year, but from the pics I've seen I think I like the W203 better.
One last thing - I'm assuming the 230 is very similar to the 325 & is extremely sport oriented - Correct?
thanks for any & all input.

hello i am a used car dealer in ca, if you realy want problem free car & best ride, then go for es300, i buy one for my wife 97, now a car have 197k miles still drive like new, belive me & always hold a strong market value for es300, its up to you which car you want to buy, but as a dealer if i will choose, i will go for a es300 good luck thanks
Generally speaking, MB has a more compliant ride than a BMW. I agree with you, too. I have a friend that has a 5 series with standard suspension. I find it slightly uncomfortable. However, I have a C280 with the MB Sport suspension ( which is stiffer than the standand) and yet it is more comfortable than my friends. Is the ES a Lexus? If so, you're talking apples and oranges. Don't expect to get the German driving experience with a lux. Japanese car. That's not necessarily a bad thing, unless you love the German road feel.
Defiantly test out the C280. I think you'll find it quite different than the BMW or the Lexus.
