C280 exhaust temp light
the other day i was waiting in a que and the exhaust temp light come on, thought it might turn off after i had driven down the road a bit but it didn't, turned the car off and back on and it dissappear, is this a sign some thing is going ??
had the loom go on me about a year ago, replaced that had the ignition module in the computer fixed with a hybrid board as it dropped a coil and also had to replace all 3 coils, and has been good since, when i had to drive it on 4 cylinders it caused the temp light to come on, presume it was all the un burn't fuel from the 2 cylinders burning in the exhaust
is it possible i could have cooked a sensor or damaged a 0xy sensor, seems to be using a little more fuel than usual, i do mainly small around town trips and get about 380km from a tank
cheers for any help
