C250 breakdown 200 miles on the clock - known issue?
I broke down today in my brand new (delivered Friday) C250 SE CDi Auto. I had done less than 200 miles on the clock. MB tech arrived and told me it would be I had ran out of fuel even though the gauge showed it to be 1/4 full and that this was a known software issue.
Is anyone else aware of this. I was told I have to book the car back in for a software update. Surely MB wouldn't send out a car with a known problem. The location I broke down in was particularly hazardous and I would not be too happy knowing it could have been my wife driving with our son and being in that situation. Any ideas? Anyone heard of this? |
