C230 starting issue
car fails to start unless you turn it off and on 3-4 times ,,,, then it will start right away......
After sitting for a while does it again.... fuel pressure ? just finished changing out the counter balance shaft....
bled the line of air ( ha ha ha ) I believe ,,, and reset the P codes for the original failure...
still have a little tic-tic drv side front cam shaft area up to about 1800 rpm then gets quite ...... Other than that runs very well
you guys got any ideas ????

No codes at this point......tried to bleed out the air in the fuel line,,, (but don't know) The codes were P0016 and P0017 ,which ends up or ended up being the double row sprocket on the counter bal. Shaft . (see photo) I Did the 305 degree position test to see the marks in the middle ...( that test failed ) which lead to the R/R
I am at this point , in the phase of completion. The auto start is failing to start on the first try ,,, about the 3rd try it works as normal ( my presumption is a lack of fuel pressure ) but I cannot confirm yet. then after starting there is a little tic-tic located
at the front top cam cover driver side ,,,, but will stop at 1800 rpm and up ... sometimes comes back more softly ,,,, other times just a tic-tic ....
So I am looking to solve two issues ,,,, Start up on the first try..... and then the tic-tic...... Picture's show the bad sprocket and the good one. ----Buy chance would the computer need to be Flashed ????
Thanks for your time
