c230 remote will not lock/unlock doors. (trunk release will not work either)
 

I have a question? Does anyone know of a quick cure to fix a remote problem? I have 2 remotes and neither one works; although it does start the car. I've tried new batteries, looked at all the fuses (they were all fine) and can't really figure out what the problem is. My locks (and trunk) work fine when pressing the buttons on the dash. When driving my car they automatically lock, so i'm guessing it's not a vacuum problem. I do have tint all the way around, but pressing the button's on my remote inside the car doesn't work either. I've heard it might be the antenna, but it sounds like such a problem to replace..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi I have a 2005 c 200k and it did the same thing however when i take the remote close to the drivers side door then the remote works and the boot opens so it looks like it is an antenna problem,since this happened with the remote my radio does not work once the car is moving only when its cold and not running. IF ANY ONE CAN HELP It would be most welcome THANKS
