I'm interested in buying my first Mercedes.
I'm looking at a 06 c230 that had the battery hooked up backwards and it's now experiencing a crank, no start issue. I haven't gone to look at it yet because I'm still uncertain as to total cost. My understanding is that it could possibly be just the voltage regulator.
It is also my understand that there used to be some type of high voltage relay that it could be but they are no longer in these cars.
I know that's not a lot of info, but can anyone tell me what else to look for when I go look at it?
