C230? C240? OR C320?
hey guys im new here and i'm thinking about buying a C class. butidont really know much about which model is better.it will basically be my daily driver so i will need reliability and low to maintain(car with the least amount of problems) i may do little mods here and there from time to time but nothing big. i also have a Audi A4 which is highly modded but that is my show car. so i know how much it is to mod a car and do not want to go that route if i buy a c-class. but i know i will in time haha so any input or opinions would help me out alot.
Out of the three choices I would recomend a C320. Its quick, from what I hear from everyone that has owned onethe reliability is great and it hadles great. It gets good gas miles depend sif you buy a 4Matic(all wheel drive)or not. The C230 are zippy but only about 190bhp. and the C240 is only 168bhp and also zippy but less options. The C320 has 215bhp and is a 3.2V6. Yourbest bet would be to test drive them ALL and decide for yourself.
C320 is the fastest of the bunch and luxury oriented. C230 is the 'sporty' model and gives you the compressor but I think it lacks wood and has the faux titanium trim.In its defenseitlooks better in the front fascia and the rims aren't nearly as lame as the 240. I have the C240 which I bought for the smooth powerband throughout the rpm range (it's really a 2.6 I believe). Mine has held up exceptionally well and I drive quite aggressively. I plan on lowering mine and adding rims one day, as long as it still drives as strong as the day I bought it.
Yes go for the E320.I have a W203 C240, it is actually 2.6 litres and has 12, yes 12 spark plugs, and is a gas gussler. reliability ? I also own an E320 and get far better mileage and the straight 6 engine is bullet proof and easy to service.
Depends which model 320 you are buying, butunless you have a friendly bankmanager and deep pockets stay awayof the C240.
Best of luck and happy motoring.
