C220 Cdi gearbox ? rumble
Hi
I have a C220 cdi, 2001 model with 55k on the clock. There is a fairly loud rumble/vibration that only occurs when I turn on a right hand bend, or up a steep hill. Nothing when turning left. It seems to get worse after 100kms drive , but that might be me getting annoyed with it. The garage has OK'd the steering/suspension. I sounds like it is coming from down in the footwell, close to the gearbox. I suspect something in the drive train, bearings, prop shaft?
Any help or steers gratefully received.
