c200 03 flashers start 10 mins after locking

does anyone know why my hazards start flashing about 10 mins after I
have locked the car with the remote. If i leave the car unlocked they
are ok

your alarm is activating. when you push and hold your red "panic" button does the alarm go off? you could need a siren because if your lights are flashing your alarm should be sounding also.

Sometimes my c180 2004 flashers come on when left parked. Then when I depress the key the siren starts to sound.I lock then unlock to silence the siren.This happens only occasionally.Please help. Harry
