I've just bought a C180 in excellent condition with 140,000 km on the clock. It seems to have a lot of steering free play (about 10mm). This seemed common with other Mercedes I drove.What isthe specification for steering free play? Is there a way to adjust it ?

You may need a new drag link or something as simple as a new steering shock. The shock is know to wear out fairly quickly.
