hi can anyone help me i have a 51c180 the other day i was driving and the brake linning wear light come flashing on the dash. so i have replaced all the brake pads shoes. and the light still flashes. i also seviced the car while i was messing on. and the service light is flashing now.do i have to visit a merc garage to get these reset. and will they reset it without doing the work ....thanks shaun[:@][:@]

 

yes they will reset it ........for a fee

why are you servicing a 51 plate you lose all the mobilo life cover and the car wont be worth much if you sell it ?

 

cheers for the imfo. why im servicing it my self is because i bought the car last august. so i have just had it 12months. and there is rust popping up all over the wheel arches where the headlight are fitted in back boot all on the outside body etc. im so gutted im gona get rid of it. i paid 11k plus finace terms from reg vardy specilast cars and they have pulled my pance down .. i went to se them a couple months ago and found out they had been took over by strathstone. so i asked them for help and they said it had nothing to do with them .. but they sent me a service letter saying it was due. so i was so pissed of ive done it myself (mobil life the rust on it im gona loose loads anyway) i part exchanged a t reg audi a3 which i never had any problem what ever. and it was solid so im going back to audi the new a3.
