Default c-class tires

I was just wondering what kind of tires the luxury (not sport) c-class takes (c240 or c280). What do they cost to replace and how often do they need replaced?

ContiSportContacts, 205/55/16, $107.00ea. US, treadwear 280.
My opinion: Tires are made for spirited driving. Better traction, but wear too quickly. They last me less than 1 year.

Michellin Energy MXV4 Plus, 205/55/16, $113.00ea. US, treadwear 400.
My opinion: Better value for the money. They last me over two years with normal driving. But don't race a corner in them.

Good advice, BlueSilver. If you like looking around on the web first, go to www.tirerack.com and type in your car.
You will see the options. Consider tread life according to what it is you want the tire to do. My Pilots didn't last very long.
I went with a BF Goodrich G-force. Of course, this is on the "sport" model. So that's different than what you want. Just pick
a quality all-weather tire and look at the treadwear rating, as BlueSilver said. Hope this helps. Many, many opinions on this one.
