Hi this is my post.

I have a 2007 mercedes c class sports coupe 180 Kompressor.

I am having a problem with the seat belts not springing back when undone and when closing the car door the metal part of the belt is smashing the speaker cover.

I am aware of the problem and always check that the belt has sprung back however it is very difficult to remember to tell passangers especailly children when exiting the vehicle that they must make sure the belt has sprung back.

I have had three broken speaker covers so far!!

Has anyone else had this problem and is there a way to resolve it.
