C 320 Brake Rotor Change Question

Can anyone tell me the level of difficulty for changing out the rotors on 2002 C 320? Do they just slide off the studs once the wheel and calipers are removed? Thanks in advance.

RE: C 320 Brake Rotor Change Question

Not much different than any other car.

Remove the wheel. Remove the caliper. There is a set screw that holds the rotor to the hub, so remove that, then the rotor should be free. There should be enough play to not worry about removing the brake pad wear sensor, but if not, remove it.

Retighten the locking nut to 10 Nm (7 lb-ft), and retighten the Front caliper bolt to 155 Nm (85 lb-ft), and the rear caliper is tightened to 55 Nm (40 lb-ft)

Thanks for your reply. Much easier sounding than a Porsche!
