Default Brake Question

I'm planning on putting new pads and rotors on the front and rear of my wife's 1999 c230. I'm wondering if I should expect any surprises or quirks about the brake system? Or is this a pretty straight forward job? Any suggestions about procedure, tools, wrench sizes, etc. would be much appreciated as would recommendations on pads, rotors and sources. Thanks in advance for any responses.

SHould be easy peasy. Check your brake fliud level first as if its too full, when you compress the calipers your fliud will overflow. Remove spring first, then caliper, then caliper torque member, then rotors. Clean hub of all rust and apply a good anti-seize to hub before installing new rotors. Rotors will have a small bolt holding them on, you can replace or re-use them as well as the torque member bolts. Clean the torque member of dust and dirty where the pads sit. Apply some anti seize to the BACKS of the pads where they touch the piston and caliper and on the sides of the pads where they slide on the torque member. Torque your wheel to spec (90 ft lbs) and pump your brake before you drive anywhere.
