BI-XENON VS. H.I.D.????????
Can anyone tell me the difference between these two. I've read some of the topics already and i'm still kinda confuse about it. I have an 2003 C240. I would like to intall an new headlight assembly with projector and probably get an HID, but i don't know if I already have an HID in it or BI-Xenon is already HID? Can someone give me an idea if i should just replace the bulb that will make it look BLUISH color like HID or better idea? Also if there's going to be a probelm with the computer on the car if i put HID in it? I would appreciate your response. I'm newbee and i don't know what im saying. LOL

HID Xenon lights have a bit sophisticated moving mechanism. One such thing is the shutter. When you turn the lights on, you will ALWAYS see the light RISING.
If you cannot tell by the color...at least you should be able to tell from the movement.
You can check by going through paperwork of your vehicle purchase or posting a photo of your headlights while turned on and we can identify for you. Assuming you have halogen bulbs, there are 3 options available.
1) OEM bi-xenons
2) DEPO clear projector headlamps with aftermarket HID kit
3) Aftermarket HID kit
Since you wanted projector look, option #2 would be the reasonable way to go.

Attached image doesn't have HID unless specified when you purchased.
What do you mean by old kit from the stock?
If you have stock xenon, you can just swap headlight assemblies.

You mean, I could just swap headlight assembly without any problem by just replacing a different bulb right? On my manual it say that I have a bi-xenon h7 (55w) d2s-35, but i want a bluish color or that 8000k, how much do they cost and where can i find them. Can i just buy them at carparts store or special order? Thanks again, sorry i feel like an *** now
If you have factory xenon, then you will need PIAA D2S bulbs to make even brighter.
If you have halogens, you can go with PIAA Xtreme white bulbs for bright look.
But you need to make sure if you have halogens or not first.

hey K1motorsports,
I have already installed my new headlight assembly and I found out that i only have h7 halogen bulb on them. If have to buy HID kits for it, is it going to be plug and play or i have to do small customize on it. I would really like HID on this. If you know someone that done this, or someone that knows how to do it let me know please!!!
