BAS ESP!
 

What is the BAS ESP! Light and what does it mean? It poped up on me one time and it never appeared again. I couldn't turn on the ESP.

Hi, This question has come up a few times, I had this on my C230 Kompressor it comes on and then vanishes for days. If you do a quick search you should be able to find the answer, its something to do with a Duff Switch under the dash behind the steering wheel bit of a pig to get to apparently but fairly cheap to buy about £6.oo GBP

Hope you find what you are looking for let me know if you manage to do this I would like to know how its done so I can do my own.

sport, BAS-brake assist system, and ESP-electronic stability program, are basically traction control functions. theyshare a host of sensors and switches that all communicate together with other modules. you will have to have this diagnosed with SDS tool. it will have stored a trouble code in one of the modules.

intermittant problems have no silver bullets usually.
