auto box advice
 

i have a 1997 c200 auto,when starting from cold the auto box takes a very long time to shift between gears and often will remain in second gear until the rev counter hits 4000 revs,i know that the box is meant to do this when cold but but it even does this after the car is fully warmed when i have stopped the engine for 2 minuits and restarted on my journey,when the car is warm the box shifts fine,is their a way of adjusting the box so it shifts between gears quicker when cold or does anyone have this same problem.....thanks in advance
