Antenna Short?

Antenna Short?
I have a problem that there are a few threads on but would like some of the experts to chime in.
2006 C280 4MATIC..... has the following symptoms:
1) Fuse 8 in trunk (Antenna) keeps blowing as soon as inserted.... so a short somewhere...... and of course key FOBs will not open or lock car. I have 12v at fuse block.
2) Same time as that happened, RADIO reception is severely degraded
3) And also at same time, my rear window shade got stuck in UP position but think that may be a different issue, and manual "help" as described in other posts while wife is pushing button is no help. But again may very well be different issue
4) My low beams are useless in night-time driving..... will check them against wall, but first thought is that they are severely downward pointing.... Will update 3 and 4 when I get to them, but want to focus on #1 and #2 that I think are related
I have heard that the short sometimes comes from the ALARM HORN, that could short out.... no idea if that is truth or how I would test it.
Some troubleshooting tips would be awesome.... I have all the voltmeters and test lights, but need to know where to test different things....
I am all ears if you think I am on right (OR WRONG track) here!
