I just bought a 94 C280. There are a few things not covered in the owners manuel that I am REALLY curious about!

First, on the remoter there are two buttons, the black unlock/lock, then there is the super mysterious green button. What does that green button do?

Second, on the dash next to the headlamp switch there are 2 lights. One orange and one red. They came on a few times right after I got the car and when they flash it makes a chirping noise. What is this for?

Please help. It is driving me insane not knowing!
