This may sound retarded, but what the hell does the button "rest" on the dashboard, do? EC- probably is the air-con , the button wich turns on the ciculation of air inside is also clear to me, but the last fourth button doesnt show absoltely no clues. Maybe some one could explain, or tell me where i could look for a users manual on the net?

p.s. it has manual air con, and i was talking about four vertically placed buttons in the middle of the dashboard between the temperature controllers

 

When you turn off your engine, remove the key, press rest, and the the heating system will keep your car at 72 degrees for approx 20 plus or minus. At least that is what the REST buttom does on my 99 C280 with climate control, so I sure this is the same in you ride. Very nice on a cold day when you doing errands and in and out of the car. Their is a fail safe built in, if the battery does not have enough charge the REST won't work. Cool feature. As far as user manuals on the net try Ebay, I found a sales brochure for my 99 in brand new condition, so I am sure a "owners manual" use this for the search term, will probably show up
