87 190e key problems

I have an ignition switch that won't turn. The only way I can seem to find to remove the lock cylinder is to turn the key to position 1. BUT, I can't turn the key. help? Please?

That's happened to me, you've got to fool with it for about 7 minutes. It's done it twice. After that it's been fine. Try turning the key back and forth with some good force.
