2017 C250D Battery Dead
Hey guys,
My 2016 Mercedes C250D battery has died. The battery is less than 3-4 years old and I think it got drained since the parking lights were left on for a while. Given the entire COVID-19 situation, everything in my city is shut indefinitely and I don't see anything operating for the next 21 days. I want to know what I should do with the battery/car since I won't be able to get MB to look at it for 3 weeks?
Thanks for the help! |
In that situation you should disconnect the battery. I've had a similar problem.

It is great that you changed the battery on time. Because once my car's battery died in the middle of nowhere, I’m glad I had my old buddy with me, and it wasn’t as bad as it could’ve been. We had to drag the car for 3 hours till we made it to the closest gas station. After this hell of a ride, my friend told me to check out a website when I’ll be back home batterytools.net and I was surprised by the amount of great information it had about car batteries and how to replace them. Thanks to that website and my forms o was able to change the battery myself.

Maybe just charging the battery until you can have MB service available
