2007 C280 engine sound

I'm hearing a slight "puddering" and slight vibration when I'm stopped and idle and appears to get louder as engine warms up. I've turned off climate control and sound is still there. I'm leaning towards the sound coming from either the exhaust or fan. Just bought car and I only have 20k miles on 2007 c280W starmark. Anyone else experience this?

RE: 2007 C280 engine sound

[blockquote]I have a 2007 C280 Avantgarde- had it 1 week. No noises, no problems with mine so it isn't an inherent problem with design. Get it clearled up under warranty. The only complaints I have about this car are these; maybe you can assist me?
(1) the door lock knobs never retreat into the door sill when locked- they remain about 1 inch high. This seems to indicates that the car is unlocked and invites unwanted attention form thieves.
(2) Altho' the maual tells me that upon locking the car I should get 3 light flashes, 3 acoustic beeps and the internal dashboard red-light should commence flashing to indicate the immobilzer is working, I only get 3 light flashes, no beeps or red flashes.

What about yours? I've scoped out other comparable C' classes and they are all the same as mine.

I have similar problem with my C240 2004. I even went to local MB dealer and checked out the same car they had for sale. The sound was the same and I still have it.

I have a 2007 c280 which has a vibration only when in gear. I have replaced the transmission mount the two motor mounts and the intake manifold and there is still a vibration when put in drive, it is confounding....any suggestions?
