2006 C230 | Tire pressures for new Conti2's

Quick question: I just replaced the original ContiSportContact2's on my 2006 C230 and the change is phenomenal! My car was in the body shop after a pretty good front end collision (Loredo Paint & Body in San Antonio does AMAZiNG work) and I decided to finally swap the tires. They are amazing.

The shop took the tires to be mounted and balanced at the Porsche dealer next door and they came back at 40PSI in the rear and 35 up front (cold). The placard in my driver door inset recommends 28psi Frontand 32 psi Rear (cold)

Any body have any tips on where they've ran their tires at. I currently have them at 32 and 34 (cold).

Thanks!

Jeff

You should be OK with them the way you have them.
Just monitor tread wear in the center and the edge no matter where you put them
to be sure they wear evenly. Glad you like the new tires. I've found tires can make
a big difference, as you found. ;)

Thanks for the two-cents - I really appreciate it.

I really do love the Conti's on this car. The new rubber has made all the difference and I am very surprised I left 'em so late!

Anybody have any advice for monitoring tread wear? what's the best way to get a good view / measure what's happening down there to ensure an even tread wear rate?

Jeff
