2005 c230 sport kompressor
my wife has a 4d sport and am having an issue with a little bit of
oil left on the garage floor. it just started last month and i cant seem to find out where the oil is coming from. i think its coming from the transmission
but not sure yet. it is red in color and i can see seep spots on the bell housing.
So how do i check the trans fluid level?

Mine was doing the same thing...Above the tranny and behind the top MB engine cover in the back is a vacuum pump for the brakes...check it to see if there is oil caked on it?...I had the same problem and it was this vac pump costing $500 at the dealer...don't know about color of the brake fluid but red usually is tranny...Just a thought to eliminate this issue
