2005 c230 kompresser air filter replacment
 

Hey guy's i'm just a newbe here on the site and am wondering if anyone can help me.I'm trying to figure out where the air filter is located on my 2005 c230 sport and how to replace it? thanks for any help you can give

Pop your hood and look to the driver's side of the larger black plastic cover with the silver Mercedes logo. It's under the smaller black cover that is held on with six Torx head screws. Size is T-25 if you don't have a set of these. The filter is an odd shaped thing that lifts out at an angle and goes back in the same way. Clean out the filter box it sits in with a vacuum attachment and then replace with a new one and put the cover back on. Simple. You can buy the filter online and save or you can replace it with a K&N if you desire. Up to you. Hope this helps.
