The blower stopped working on my W203 in January. I removed and tested the motor and it was fine. I replaced the blower resistor unit and it did not correct the problem so I re-installed the original. I then replaced the center console head unit with a used one from ebay which corrected the problem unitl last week when the fan again stopped working. Using the info found on this site I have figured out how to get to the sensor data but can not figure out how to get to the error codes. Attached is picture of the head unit I have. I you have the instructions for this unit I sure could use it. Thanks

 

Well I gave up and took the 320 to the local dealer. They were able to repair the system. They told me that the sun sensor was intermitently shorting and had litterally jammed up the can bus. They unhooked the sun sensor and cleared all the codes and everything is good to go. The sun sensor is not really needed and I deceided not to replace it on the car since it is older. They were actually very easy to work with and the cost was reasonable. I know they struggled a bit as well.
