Default 2004 C240 Battery question

My daughter's car has been sitting in the garage for a couple of months while she has been away at school. She was coming home for Thanksgiving, so I thought I would make sure it was in operating condition before she arrived. When I tried to start the car, it would not recognize the spare key that I had & of course, she had the other key. So rather than do anything precipitous, I decided to just wait until she came home with the other key. To my delight, the car recognized her key and started, albeit slowly, as the battery appeared to be low. I let the car idle until it was warmed up & then drove it for a few miles. Everything appeared to be operating normally. My daughter, however, advised me that the radio was inop. No lights, nothing, except the flashing security light on the front. With additional driving, she advised that the radio was cutting in & out as she drove. My question is can this all be attributed to a six year old battery? Thanks.

1. Go to the AutoZone to check the battery FREE.
2. Disconect radio and wait 1-2 minutes and then reconect. Usually it works out.

Try putting the vehicle in "dyno mode" with the radio on and see the volts.
It might be time to change the battery. The seat modules are known to go bad and draw current...might have sucked the life out of the battery.
