2002 Mercedes C240 short? battery drain?
Hello everyone,
Your help would be much appreciated!
About a month ago my C240 battery went dead, no problem there. Replaced the original Mercedes battery with an advance auto parts after-market battery. Upon connecting the new battery the car worked better than ever, however I noticed that the speedometer went past 160 and locked, the RPMs was off completely and the information screen flashes yellow and red. Now the car battery dies often if left untouched for more than 1 day. Attached is a picture of the speedometer when its malfunctioning. PLEASE HELP!
