I recently replaced myself the alternator. Now the SRS light is on, the radio is completely dead, the sunroof does not open and it is difficult to open the door with the remote. Can anyone help?

 

When you disconnect the battery, it puts a lot of things out of synch. To do the windows, turn the key to the ignition position (don't start it) and push down and HOLD each window switch for about 5 seconds and then release. This will make the windows go up and down with one-touch again. The same for the sunroof and/or rear window shade if you have one of those. Turn the key on and push the sunroof button and HOLD it five seconds or a bit more. This will make it work properly. Try this with the radio and the remote. I'm not sure this is the procedure for the remote, but it probably is. Hope this helps out.
