Default 2002 c230 Coupe Bulb replacement

Is replacing the front headlight bulb a difficult task in the 2002 model c230 Coupe? If not.. what is the procedure and how long should it take? Also, what is the best "white" light replacement bulb on the market and its estimated cost?

i replaced my headlight bulb in C240 and it is easy. the bulb cost $19.99 at autozone, but you can get it online less than $9. you may have to pay shipping which is $4 and you still save some money.

some places you have to buy $25 or more. so u need to buy two quantity.

I would say if you want real white, h.i.ds are the way to go man. I installed them in my car and its working great. What a difference.
If you know what your doing go with oem products like phillips and hella. If not just buy the h.i.d kits thats made just for your car.
Price on h.i.d's are around $400 and you would have to reset the onboard sam to make them function correctly.

How do we reset the onboard sam? Do we have to go back to the dealership to that?

Yes you have to go back to the dealer and have them reset the onboard computer so that it detects the H.I.D's.
Alot of dealers will not reset the sam becuase thats againest the warrenty. If you are lucky some dealers will reset it for you, but might charge. When I went to reset my onboard they charged me $50.00. It was all worth it.. I couldnt stand the flickering.
