2002 C220 CDI - Overdrive

Does the 2002 C220 CDI Automatic have Overdrive? How is it switched on or off?

These are the only selector positions: P R N -D+
There is no OD. And there is an S/W switch. Awaiting a response on how overdrive is selected and also the meaning of S/W? Thx

S/W switch, changes gearbox mode, S = Standard, W = Winter. Not sure about overdrive but I believe not fitted to 5 speed auto's like ours.

Just to add to S/W issue, "S"tandard or "S"ummer program is used most often and is adaptable to individual driver's habits. In reality, the program selects from a number of options and matches your style to one of the options. "S" always starts in 1st gear as well and affects your braking as it gears down.
"W" program always starts in 2nd gear and has only one option so is not adapable to individual styles. It is primarily used in "W"inter or "W"et conditions where traction is poor and changes the braking characteristics as it only gears down to second gear.
I personally like "W" a lot of the time primarily for its braking characteristics especially in heavy stop and go traffic. Its highly useful on snow and ice.
You can change from one program to the other at any time although I always change when I am at a full stop.
I personally am not aware of any Overdrive on the car. If "ForcedInduction" is correct there is no button or gear position that would turn it on or off on my 2002 C230.
