On Sat. June 4, 2011 my 2001 C240 lost power while driving ending up unable to be driven. All I could hear was the loud sound of the radiator fan. I tried to re-start the car, but it would shut off in a second or two. It ended up being towed from that spot. I would appreciate any advice from all Mercedes owners as to what may be the common causes of such.

maybe your alternator i had mine replaced but it wouldnt start at all so im not positive you can get that and your battery checked
