I have a 2001 C230 Kompressor Coupe with an automatic transmission. The car has just started to take much longer to shift into each gear than normal, at times it almost seems to be freewheeling before it finally shifts into gear. This only happens when the car is upshifting, everything is fine when the car is downshifting. My friend has a tester and found a trouble code of P0700(Transmission Control System Malfunction) stored in the OBD. Does anyone know what this code means or what part I need to fix the problem.
