2000 c230 air conditioning low pressure fitting
 

Can anyone tell me where the filler valve for the low pressure recharge is on the 2ooo 230. Ive been refilling on american cars but not MB.s. I believe ive found the high pressure fitting on the top of the compressor rear but can't locate the low for recharging. do i need to jack up the vehicle to locate it? the outlet on the back of the compressor is smaller than the snap on fitting on my refill hose. are the fittings the same size on mb's as american cars?Please help.

fittings are the same/ i think theres one on the front of the car near the fan? on the front of the radiator like behind the front grille it might be under a plastic cover? im not totally sure though. there are usually pretty easy to see on benzes. just follow the ac metal lines and youll come across it.

Thanks. I found it WAS the line coming out of the rear of the compressor that goes into the dash. Its on the large tube coming out the top of the compressor and goes into the dash. Thanks again
