1998 C230 - how rare is this?
Hello,
I'm looking for a older Class Kompressor model with mileage around 80k. I ran across this 98 c230 model today with some "rare" factory options: Navigation, Driver and Passenger Mirrors that fold in with lights, front & rear sunshade, AMGwheelswith a kompressor engine. Thecar has over 90k miles which is abit more thanI was looking for butI'm thinkingit may be nice to have something more than the ordinary. I'm currently look at both of the following vehicles - 99 C230 Kompressor has the Sport option with 80k 98 C230 with Kompressor engine (looks like it maybe I compare them side to side) with rare options and 90k miles. The nav is way cool and I get lost easy ... wife says it would be a great option for me ... lol Same price on both. Thinking of having the car for only a few years like 2-3 years. I have always wanted a MB C-class. Anyone help me decide? How rare are these options in a 98? you seem to be leaning towards the one with the navi, go for it, 90K is no big deal

How can I validate that this is a Kompressor engine? I seemed a bit slower than the C230k

IMHO I would buy the most mechanical sound one. You can buy a NAV unit cheaper than you can fix a broken Benz.
Good luck on your desicion and remember it's only money and we can't take it with us. |
