1997 C230 Key Lock Steering Lock problem
 

My 1997 C230, wheel not let me turn the key in the ignition. It will not move to any postion. Also I can not remove the tumbler or wheel lock without the key in first postion, and because of this I can not use the car.

Any advice on how to remove the steering lock or engage the key would be appriciated.

This might help you out:
1. Close driver door,
2. Put the key in ignition / you should hear the sound something like: trtrtrtr.....
If you don't hear that sound, pull out the key from ignition and open the driver door.
Close the door and try it again. Repeat this 3-4 times.
