Default 1995 C280 Rear Headrest stuck

Hi benzers! sorry if this has been already posted before but I need help with my rear headrest they are stuckedin the upright position (stuck) when I hit its button on the console I can hear a "click" on the back but nothing happens they are still in the upright position. Is there a way in which I can put them down manually or how do I fix them? Also while driving I can hear like a mechanich noise every 15 seconds coming from the back (rear headrest) it sounds like the motor or something it's trying to work but cannot.

I would love to read some replies cuz this is really pissing me of not only partially blocks my rear vision but I know it should be working ok and it's not.

Thanxs!

Look underneath your intake manifold for a grey vacuum line that is often knocked off during oil changes. You will see it running near the filter compartment, follow it with you hand to makes sure it is attached on the tit. Originally posted by benz n baked

You have a leak in the vacuum system. The headrests and things like the door locks are operated by a vacuum system. The noise you hear is the vacuum pump located in the trunk. It keeps turning on in an attempt to keep the vacuum up. Be warned that if you don't get this fixed soon, you could burn out this expensive part.
