Iīve just joint the forum!
Iīm from Brazil and recently i bought a 1994 C280...
I got this car with some problems that Iīm fixing slowly..
One problem that is driving me crazy that I canīt solve is:
When i start the car in the morning (cold) the idle is set up to about 700rpm... and the car stays on for about 20 seconds and then the engine stops.. and i have to star the engine again... i do that for 3 times until the engine keeps ruinning....
onde the car warms up, the idle will slowly increasing.. and after 3 or 4 minutes the idle (in P or N) is about 2.000RPM
When i Switch to D, the idle goes ubout 900rpm...
But.. the car loses MUCH power to acelerate... and when is cold is even worst.... even when the car is driven for more than 20 minutes, the idles eeps on 2.000rpm on P or N...
The car just runs good after 4.000rpm that the engine " shows the power.." in low rps the car is very weak...
I already changed the MAF, Spark plugs, clean the injectors, change the oil, filter and fuel filter, change the coolant temperature switch and the fuel pressure regulator.. it didnīgot better after all....
Any ideas???
The foruns here in brazil donīt help much...
