05 C230K Rear Sun Shade/Rear Defogger Issue.
 

Strange thing has happened. My sunshade and rear window defogger seem to have stopped working at the same time. Now I know these accessories are not anywhere related, but its weird. The fuses in the trunk seem to be fine, and I'm getting the dreaded very light and low sounding knock sound when the shade button is pressed. Stuck in the up position btw. This leads me to believe that the shade motor is shot. But why the defogger too? Coincidence?
Defogger button on the dash still works. But not one part of the grid on the window gets warm. Anyone else experience a similar problem. Thanks in advance......... Steve

Fusible link, relay or circuit breaker maybe?
