I'm new to these forums and want to start upgrading my car. I have an 05 230 kompressor with about 80k miles. I know its hard to tune up german cars on a budget but I want to try to keep the cost low. Today my air intake broke and I ended up fixing it all at autozone for about 1/15 of the price of the dealership.

This got me thinking that for not too much money I can replace and add parts to tune up my car. As you can already tell I'm pretty much a noob but I have tuner friends that can help me out.

What do you think would be some cheap upgrades or decently priced items(dont want to spend over 3000 total in upgrades) to increase my cars performance? Thanks everyone
