Default 01 C240 no start

I've got an 01 C240 with ~ 91,000 mi. It will crank over fine, just won't fire. Can someone tell me where to start looking for problems, or am I at the mercy of the dealership?

Thanks

Tom

Lets work on the fuelsystem tofirst trouble shoot your problem. First locate your fuel-pump fuse, my 03-C240 is in theleft hand trunk side panel #4position.Find it,remove it and check to see if it is OK. Turn key to the ignition on position justbefore the starter positon, go back to the fuse and install it. you should hear the pump operatefor a few seconds. That should tell you if your fuel pump is ok.,

The Crack valve ",I think," is like a Finigan pin which are not real parts. so don't waste your time.

I'm pretty sure joyanlili meant the Crankshaft Position Sensor. They've been known to go south on the V6/V8 motors.
