Hello from Spain, i study this problems and i see that:
In 2005/2007 B Class
Only last radio/cd on W245 , in audio 5 can read mp3 tracks ..

Audio 20, only can read mp3 with adicional charger cds. The single unit cant see mp3.


An innovation that I have found.

In the English web of mercedes, is indicated by total clarity that in the new 2008model of the clase b.
The audio 20 reads mp3!!!!

"Audio 20 CD/Radio - single CD drive (MP3 compatible), 8 speakers, 5-inch colour display and central controller dial (S)"

To have if someone can confirm this [:-]

Can see it in english (.uk) configurator of mercedesbenz.[/align]

You need an adicional kit to hear mp3 wich is sold on oficial dealers.
