Hey guys... I am new to the benz world and need a little advice. I am considering a 2001 CLK 55 AMG with only 21,200 miles on it. The price is $29,000. Is this a good car? Consumer reports does not treat it so kindly. Is this a car to avoid, amg motors? Should I make sure to get an extended warranty? Is there other years that are more reliable? Stuff like that! Thanks in advance for any help!

 

every car differs from each other depending on how the owner treated it.

you may first check the maintenance history to see if any major job was done to it. also if it got a regular maintenance which is good.

at that mileage, it is almost the same as 1 year of use although it's a 4 year old car.

if you get extended warranty, be clear with them as to what is covered and no hidden lines.
